We are excited to see students grow in their understanding of biblical worldview and how it will impact all that they choose to do for the glory of God. We are looking for 6th-12th grade core and elective course teachers both part-time and full-time. If you are interested, please review the below expectations and complete the Faculty Application.
Teacher Expectations
- Our teachers will hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the area of education or a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years (classroom or virtual) teaching experience. Preferred candidates will hold a master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of educational experience.
- Our teachers will be committed to and passionate about teaching all content from a biblical foundation and assisting students with making connections between that biblical foundation and the subject matter they are learning.
- Our teachers will be equipped and able to impart specific Creation Content through a synchronous and asynchronous technological format.
- Our teachers will train through Renewanation’s Education Advancement Program (REAP), as well as iLumenEd specific trainings, and will be expected to regularly earn CEUs (Continuing Education Units), staying up-to-date on educational best practices.
- Our teachers will present themselves as Christian professionals in word and deed as specified in iLumenEd’s Faculty Manual.
- Our teachers will provide evaluative and didactic support to students and parent/guardian(s) in a confident, collaborative, and communicative manner.
